Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is proficient in comedy as well as dramatic characters. He has also portrayed several romantic characters and was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. His interest in the acting profession began when he was when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the path for the success of his acting career. Unable to find success as a comedian he took the job of cameraman for a TV cable channel. As he was doing working, he began to realize that he really wanted to be on camera. He was offered a TV show and he was a regular on various episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. A natural actor, he was quickly a hit on TV. His comedic roles made him famous and he commenced the career of a filmmaker with big dreams. Further acclaim was earned by his portrayal of Batman's famous hero from Tim Burton's Batman. He grew up in the field of acting and then began doing productions and even directing films. In 2014, his performance as Birdman earned him numerous awards and nods.
