Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on 16 March, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's professional career started in 2011 as a comedian after she appeared in small part for Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin appearing on a variety of sitcoms and sketch shows. In 2012, after she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel shows. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister called Sinead. The only ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. She uses the surnamed Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life after Bea reached the age of three, was an victim of self-harm. She was told about his suicide only after 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her father and published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mother Helen She is an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was in charge of taking care of her and Sinead. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young teens. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to do in a career and she preferred performing.
